You don't have to choose alone: the clinic's doctor recommends the technique from your photos, and I write it into your quote. Many cases get both (DHI at the hairline, Sapphire FUE behind it); a hybrid plan is quoted as the DHI package. Your four days in Istanbul
- Day 1
Land at IST. VIP pickup, hotel check-in, rest.
- Day 2
Blood test, hairline design with the doctor, then the procedure, typically 6 to 8 hours under local anesthesia.
- Day 3
Check-up and first wash at the clinic. Aftercare kit and written instructions.
- Day 4
Transfer to the airport. Your WhatsApp thread with me continues for 12 months.

With the Plus upgrade you get a 4th night to rest before the flight. Hair + Smile is 5 nights; the dental work is spread over the extra days.
Procedure day, step by step
- Consultation and hairline design. The doctor examines your scalp and donor area, discusses what is realistic and draws the new hairline with a marker. You approve the design before anything else happens, with your interpreter next to you.
- Preparation. The donor area is trimmed (with DHI the recipient area can stay unshaven) and local anesthesia is given. The injections are the uncomfortable part; after them, most patients report little pain.
- Extraction. Follicles are removed one by one from the donor area, usually over 2–3 hours.
- Channels and implantation. Sapphire FUE: channels are opened at the angle of your natural growth, then the grafts are placed. DHI: grafts are placed directly with the implanter pen. This is the longest part, 3–4 hours.
- Aftercare. A bandage on the donor area, medications and the aftercare kit with written instructions, and the VIP transfer back to the hotel.
Total: typically 6–8 hours, awake under local anesthesia. People watch films, listen to music and have lunch at the clinic.
The first 12 months: what's typical

Who is a good candidate?
- A stable hair-loss pattern, usually age 25 or older, so the pattern is established
- Enough donor density on the back and sides of the head
- Good general health, with no uncontrolled bleeding or scalp conditions
- Realistic expectations: the doctor tells you what is achievable from your donor area
- Willing to stop smoking around the procedure (it restricts blood flow to the grafts)
Previous failed transplant, visible scarring, diffuse thinning, hepatitis B/C or HIV: the clinic treats these cases, but they are quoted individually after the doctor reviews your photos.
Norwood scale: how many grafts?
The Norwood-Hamilton scale sorts male pattern hair loss into 7 stages. The stage gives a rough graft range; the doctor confirms the real number from your donor area. From Norwood 2 to 5, the price doesn't change with the graft count.

Preparing for your trip
Typical guidance — the clinic's written instructions come first.
- Smoking: stop ideally 2 weeks before and 2–4 weeks after
- Alcohol: none for at least 3 days before and 1 week after
- Blood thinners (aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil): ask your own doctor before pausing anything
- Minoxidil: stop a week before, if you use it
- Clothes: nothing pulled over the head for the first days; button-up shirts help
- Exercise: light walking from day 1–3, the gym after about 2 weeks, swimming and sauna after about 4 weeks
